The State of Israel was founded on the basis of ethnic cleansing and ethnic supremacy. Its legal system and its parliament are the cornerstone of the Israeli apartheid system. These days the veneer of democracy is fading away and we can easily witness the clear examples of supremacy, fascism and apartheid (which were there all along but not as explicit). Last week, Knesset member Haneen Zoabi was disqualified for "undermining" Israel. That is because she was on board the Mavi Marmara ship which was boarded by Israeli troops as it approached waters off Gaza in May 2010 as part of an international flotilla challenging Israel's blockade on the territory controlled by the Hamas. Israel's Supreme court now has four days to decide whether to revoke the ban.
Facebook has been under fire for anti-Israel bias. And most recently the social media network issued a public apology for a controversial incident. The internet platform took down a pro-Israel post saying “it’s called Israel, not Palestine.”...yet and kept up a pro-Palestinian post saying “it’s called Palestine not ‘Israel’”. Rabbi Dov Lipmann is a former member of the Knesset...and he brought public attention to the disparity. WWW.ILTV.TV
Moshe Feiglin is a Knesset Member, head of the Manhigut Yehudit faction of the Likud party in Israel. Feiglin ran against Netanyahu in 2012 for the Likud leadership and received 23% of the vote. EPJ listeners will find some thinking by Feiglin that they likely could support, other positions Feiglin holds will be difficult for EPJ readers to support. His solution to the Palestinian situation is certainly unique. That said, consider this broadcast as an attempt to provide some insight into the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
