This incident occured on October 21st, 2015, in the midst of a 2 year wave of violence sweeping the whole of Israel and the Palestinian territories, during which hundreds of individual Palestnians mostly youths, tried to kill Israeli civillians and soldiers using car rammings, firearms and mostly stabbings. The Palestinians have accused Israel for allegedly trying to undermine the status quo on the site known as Temple Mount for Jews or al-Haram al-Sharif for Muslims - thus provoking the wave of violence to take place, a narrative widely embraced by Palestinian members of the Israeli parliament. The Israeli government has denied the occusation, instead blaming the Palestinian authority and their supporters in the Israeli-Arab public for incitement and lie-spreading. Only a week preior to ...
The State of Israel was founded on the basis of ethnic cleansing and ethnic supremacy. Its legal system and its parliament are the cornerstone of the Israeli apartheid system. These days the veneer of democracy is fading away and we can easily witness the clear examples of supremacy, fascism and apartheid (which were there all along but not as explicit). Israeli Arab Knesset Member Ibrahaim Sarsur said Allah would not forgive the Palestinian leadership if it went along with Israeli and American peace efforts instead of heeding Hamas' call to arms. Ignoring the clear lack of common ground or willingness on the part of the Palestinian leadership to reach a peace based on compromise, Western officials, including Kerry, optimistically declared that the Israeli-Palestinian peace process was "picking up pace." Israeli warplanes destroyed an convoy that was delivering advanced Syrian weapons to Lebanon's Hezbollah terrorist militia and are considering military action to remove stockpile of missiles in Southern Lebanon. A large demonstration was held yesterday, July 25, 2017, outside of the residence of Uri Maklev, a so-called "religious" member of the Israeli Knesset from the UTJ party, on Mirski street, in the Ramot neighborhood of Jerusalem. The purpose of the demonstration was to denounce Maklev for having taken part in the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee’s final approval of the details of the Amended Draft Law. The religious Jewish community has always been staunchly opposed to joining the Israeli army, following the fundamental principle of Jewish belief that Jews are in exile and are forbidden to have their own state or army, or to wage wars against any nation. This is in addition to their objection to the ongoing immoral behavior of the Israeli army. Until 2014, Orthodox Jews co...
Subscribe to our channel http://bit.ly/AJSubscribe A Palestinian-Israeli politician is appealing a court ruling barring her from running in next month's election. Last week, Knesset member Haneen Zoabi was disqualified for "undermining" Israel. That is because she was on board the Mavi Marmara ship which was boarded by Israeli troops as it approached waters off Gaza in May 2010 as part of an international flotilla challenging Israel's blockade on the territory controlled by the Hamas. Israel's Supreme court now has four days to decide whether to revoke the ban.
A Palestinian member of the Israeli Knesset has urged European leaders to downgrade ties with Tel Aviv during a visit to the UK. Haneen Zoubi, who was punished by the Israeli parliament after taking part in the Gaza aid flotilla, says Israel can only act with impunity if it has western diplomatic, military and economic support. Roshan Muhammed Salih reports from London.
JERUSALEM. Her name is Haneen ZOABI and until a couple weeks ago she was virtually unknown except in the Israeli political establishment...but this all changed after this Israeli Arab member of the Knesset boarded the Mavi Marmara en route to Gaza, granting Israeli networks live interviews from the Turkish ship where violent clashes between passengers and Israeli marine commandos left nine people dead. Now she's at the heart of one of the most talked about controversies in Israeli politics with her fellow deputies going so far as to push for her citizenship to be withdrawn along with all of her parliamentary privileges. They're calling her a traitor and a terrorist.
Facebook has been under fire for anti-Israel bias. And most recently the social media network issued a public apology for a controversial incident. The internet platform took down a pro-Israel post saying “it’s called Israel, not Palestine.”...yet and kept up a pro-Palestinian post saying “it’s called Palestine not ‘Israel’”. Rabbi Dov Lipmann is a former member of the Knesset...and he brought public attention to the disparity. WWW.ILTV.TV
Moshe Feiglin is a Knesset Member, head of the Manhigut Yehudit faction of the Likud party in Israel. Feiglin ran against Netanyahu in 2012 for the Likud leadership and received 23% of the vote. EPJ listeners will find some thinking by Feiglin that they likely could support, other positions Feiglin holds will be difficult for EPJ readers to support. His solution to the Palestinian situation is certainly unique. That said, consider this broadcast as an attempt to provide some insight into the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
